Site24x7 is Zoho's observability suite: websites, servers, applications, networks and clouds in one console, up to sixteen measurement locations, and on-premise pollers for whatever sits behind a firewall. The free plan is 5 monitors from 3 locations at a one minute interval, and the paid tiers scale to 2,500 monitors. It is the right choice if you answer for a whole estate rather than a list of websites, or if you must measure from one particular part of the world, and the breadth is genuinely the point. It is a large console for someone whose work is thirty WordPress sites: the tier sets the monitor count, from 25 to 2,500, and the 30 second interval appears on the top tier only.

Where UptimeEZ is better
Breadth on one side, depth on a single layer here, and that is the whole trade. Everything in this engine goes into reading a web page the way a visitor receives it: nine layout signals, forty-one signatures for a database or application failure printed inside a valid response, the published advisories of the components it finds, and a cause named out of twenty-five with the remedy attached. The other half is who gets to read it. Every client of yours gets their own view, limited to the addresses that belong to them, with nothing to install and no seat on the bill.
Countable in the engine source, which is public and MIT: src/Check/Css.php for the nine layout signals, src/Check/Database.php for the forty-one error signatures, src/Vuln.php for the published advisories, src/Client.php for the read-only client link.

Questions we are asked about Site24x7
Half of what I answer for is servers, switches and cloud resources. Is Site24x7 the answer?
Site24x7, and it is not a close call. Its suite covers servers, applications, networks and clouds in the same console as the website monitors, and UptimeEZ watches websites, plus a TCP port or a DNS record, never the machines themselves. One console for a whole estate is a category we do not compete in, and their free tier of five monitors is enough to see whether that breadth suits how you work.
Some of what I watch sits on an internal network. Can Site24x7 or UptimeEZ reach it?
Both can, by different routes. Site24x7 sells on-premise pollers for exactly this, alongside its sixteen public locations. UptimeEZ hosted cannot see a private network at all, but the engine is MIT and needs only PHP 8.2 and a database, so it can be installed inside the network and watch from there. The choice is between buying a poller and running a small install where the machines already are.
I want checks more often than once a minute. What does that cost on Site24x7, and on UptimeEZ?
On Site24x7 the 30 second interval is on the top tier only, so the frequency you want decides the tier you buy. UptimeEZ checks every 30 seconds on the hosted plan at 9.90 EUR a month with monitors not counted, so frequency is not something bought separately. Their free tier does give a one minute interval on five monitors, which is faster than most free tiers of the seven.
Site24x7 lets me pick a European data centre at signup. Is that not the same guarantee as yours?
On location, yes. They are the only one of the seven whose page announces a choice of data centre with the EU available, which is our own argument coming back at us. Two narrower differences remain: UptimeEZ hosted gives one database per customer on a dedicated server, and the MIT engine lets the measurements never leave a machine of yours at all.
A client's site went dark because a DNS record changed. Would Site24x7 have told me?
Site24x7, which monitors DNS alongside SSL. UptimeEZ watches the certificate and the domain expiry, not the records, so a record pointed somewhere wrong reaches you as a site that stopped answering, with no reason attached to it. It is one of the few places where their breadth catches something that reading a page more deeply cannot.
Out of these five questions, Site24x7 is the answer to 2 of them rather than UptimeEZ. A comparison that wins every question is not one you should believe, and you have already used one of these tools.
