This is the launch price. It is locked for as long as you keep the plan, whatever it becomes for people who sign up later.
What each way actually costs
The subscription is not the only price, and the free version is not free of everything. Both columns are honest about their own bill.

Two of those six lines go to the free version, and they are the two that decide it for a lot of people. If control and data location matter more than a server you do not have to think about, install it and keep the money.
The terms, in one place
What follows is a summary of what you are agreeing to. Where a line matters, it says which article of the contract carries it, because a page that paraphrases a contract eventually contradicts it.

Questions about the bill
Is the price per monitor?
No, and there is no counter anywhere. One subscription covers every address you watch, on every site you look after. The reason is practical rather than generous: an agency with thirty sites runs about ninety checks, and a per-monitor price turns every new client into a purchase decision.
Are the prices shown before or after VAT?
Before. The plan is sold to businesses, in euros, and French VAT is added at checkout when it applies. A company outside France with a valid EU VAT number is invoiced without it, under the reverse charge.
Am I committed for a year?
No. Billing is monthly, in advance, and you stop from your account in one click. The month already paid for runs to its end; we do not refund a partial month, and we do not ask you to write to anyone to leave.
What happens to my history if I stop paying?
Checks and alerts stop and your instance is suspended, not deleted. The measurements stay on disk and everything resumes where it left off if you come back. Your incident history is exportable as CSV from the instance itself, before or after, and deletion on request is a documented procedure rather than a promise.
Why is there no free hosted tier?
Because the free version is the whole engine, not a sample of it, and a free hosted tier would have to be crippled to make the paid one look better. Installing it yourself costs nothing and holds nothing back. What the subscription buys is a server that is not yours to keep running.
One thing the subscription does not count, and it is the one agencies ask about: a read-only link for each client, with no seat to buy.
